The Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball program is already looking ahead, extending a scholarship offer to one of the most promising young talents on the West Coast. Eve Fowler, a 6-foot-4 center from the class of 2028, announced the offer via her Instagram, signaling Iowa's continued commitment to building a powerhouse for years to come.

Hailing from Newport Beach, California, Fowler currently stars for Sage Hill High School and also competes with the Sports Academy Swish 17 EYBL on the prestigious club circuit. Despite being just a sophomore, she has already made a significant impact on the court. During her second season at Sage Hill, Fowler helped lead the Lightning to an impressive 28-6 record and a berth in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Open Division regional final. According to MaxPreps, she averaged 10.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game while shooting an efficient 59.6% from the field—numbers that highlight her potential as a dominant two-way presence in the paint.

Fowler's recruitment is heating up quickly. Alongside Iowa, she holds offers from Washington State, Loyola Marymount, Providence, Princeton, Utah, UNLV, and Big Ten rival Northwestern. As she continues to develop her game, the Hawkeyes are clearly hoping to add her to a future roster that aims to compete at the highest level.
