The 2026 NFL Draft is coming rapidly, and the Iowa Hawkeyes, like many of the previous years, are expecting to see a healthy group finding new homes in the NFL when the dust settles after this weekend.

One of Iowa's more divisive players, due to how his play translates to the NFL, who has garnered the eyes of NFL teams after an undeniably successful collegiate career, is quarterback Mark Gronowski. Despite being the winningest college quarterback of all-time with a 58-10 record between Iowa and South Dakota State, there are mixed emotions on whether he can play at the next level.

While those thoughts exist, there is a clear interest in Gronowski from NFL teams. The New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Commanders have all hosted Mark Gronowski on visits and met with the former Iowa quarterback.

Anything but a traditional quarterback, Mark Gronowski found ways to win games and did it at a better rate than any other collegiate quarterback ever has. At South Dakota, Gronowski led the Jackrabbits to two FCS National Championships before leading the Hawkeyes to a 9-4 record in his lone year in Iowa City.

Mark Gronowski ended his collegiate career as the Walter Payton Award Winner, a two-time FCS National Championship MVP, a two-time MVFC Offensive Player of the Year, and a First-Team FCS All-American. He threw for 12,049 yards and 103 passing touchdowns to go with 2,312 rushing yards and 53 more scores on the ground.
