The Iowa Hawkeyes win a ton of games with elite special teams play, and that sort of talent translates incredibly well to the NFL. Return specialist Kaden Wetjen broke through with his electrifying punt returns, which saw him get drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of this year's NFL draft.

The special teams pipeline is continuing for Iowa in the kicking game now, as well. Drew Stevens, who owned the starting kicking duties for the Hawkeyes for four years from 2022 to 2025, has earned an invite to a rookie minicamp.

Stevens received a rookie minicamp invite from the Washington Commanders, where he will look to show his abilities and earn a roster spot.
