On Sunday, April 26th, the Houston Rockets are looking to keep their playoff run alive while hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. After an extremely disappointing postseason performance up to this point, it might be the Rockets’ last game of the season.

Where to watch: NBC and Peacock (with subscription)

Out: Fred VanVleet (Right Knee ACL Surgery Recovery)

Questionable: Austin Reaves (Left Oblique Muscle Strain)

With Kevin Durant likely missing his third out of Houston’s four playoff games this year, I’m starting to question whether or not the team even wants to win. What’s the use? Pride?

Maybe so, but I can definitely see a world where this team is already mentally and spiritually defeated. It’s much easier to just lay down and call it a season.

The alternative would be packing up and hitting the road again. To potentially get embarrassed. Again.

I guess Los Angeles isn’t the worst place to start your summer vacation. Heck, some guys might be staying there or catching flights out of LAX anyways. But I still don’t think they want to play another game.

Sorry to have low expectations for this one, but I don't think I'm alone in these feelings. Even if they manage to turn things around, it just feels like prolonging the inevitable, as previously mentioned on Roundtable.
