Indiana women’s basketball landed its third transfer portal commitment of the offseason and second from Iowa State when former Cyclone Kenzie Hare announced her intentions to join the Hoosiers for the 2026-27 season via social media.

Hare has spent the past two seasons with Iowa State after spending the first two seasons of her career with Marquette. She was playing as a redshirt junior in 2025-26 after taking a medical redshirt in 2024-25 due to a preexisting hip injury after playing in just ten games for the Cyclones.

Hare has been a starter in nearly every game of her career following her freshman season in 2022-23. Her best season came as a sophomore at Marquette, when she averaged 14 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 45.5% from the field and 42.5% from 3-point range in 31.3 minutes per game. She took on a more complimentary role at Iowa State, averaging 6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game while shooting 40.5% from the field and 40% from 3-point range in 24.4 minutes per game as a redshirt junior in 2025-26.

Notably, she was AAU teammates with Lenee Beaumont.
