The IFL is making history with its first-ever midseason tournament, the IFL Cup, and the action is set to be electric. Four of the league's 14 teams will battle it out at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey, with the semifinals kicking off on Monday, May 18, at 12 p.m. ET.

First up, the Arizona Rattlers (5-2, 4-1 in the Western Conference) take on the New Mexico Chupacabras (1-5). While the Chupacabras have had a slow start, this tournament could be the spark they need to turn their season around. Plus, there's an extra layer of emotion here—New Mexico head coach Kyle Moore-Brown is a Newark native, making this a true homecoming game.

The nightcap at 7 p.m. ET features the Vegas Knight Hawks (5-1, undefeated in conference play) against the Orlando Pirates (4-2). The Pirates are the lone Eastern Conference team in the field, and they're bringing serious firepower. Quarterback Paxton DeLaurent leads the IFL in passing yards per game (206.7) with 1,240 yards and 21 touchdowns on the season.

On the other side, keep an eye on Arizona's Arland Bruce, who ranks third in the league with 414 receiving yards. Vegas's Quentin Randolph has been a touchdown machine, hauling in 10 scores on just 28 catches.

The championship game is set for Sunday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m. ET, with a consolation game for third place earlier that day at 1 p.m. ET. IFL Commissioner Todd Tryon summed it up best: "This is a bold step forward for the league." And for fans of high-stakes indoor football, it's a midseason treat you won't want to miss.
