
The Ottawa Senators came back from a 2-0 deficit to tie Game 2 and send it into overtime against the top-seeded Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night.
The Canes struck first on a first-period power play goal from Logan Stankoven, then doubled the lead with a Sebastian Aho goal assisted by Jordan Staal in the second period.
The Senators cut the lead at 10:47 of the second period on a Drake Batherson goal, then tied it at 16:40 on a Dylan Cozens score.
After a scoreless third period, the game went to overtime.
