Jodi Ewart Shadoff's 4-under 66 on Friday at the Kroger Queen City Championship was highlighted by an ace on No. 12. Here's how many times she's recorded a hole-in-one in her career.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff added another remarkable chapter to her already impressive career on Friday at the Kroger Queen City Championship, carding a stunning hole-in-one on the par-3 12th hole at Maketewah Country Club. The ace highlighted a 4-under 66 second round that vaulted the 38-year-old Englishwoman into a tie for 10th place—but it also cemented her place in LPGA history.

With that perfectly struck tee shot, Ewart Shadoff now sits alone in second place on the LPGA Tour's all-time list for career aces, with seven since joining the tour in 2011. That's a staggering total that puts her behind only the legendary players who have dominated the leaderboard in this rare and thrilling category.

The moment itself was pure golf magic—and a little bit of comedy. As Ewart Shadoff recalled to reporters after the round, she and her caddie were standing on the 11th green when she admitted, "I have no idea how I'm going to get it close on the next tee shot." Her caddie's quick-witted reply? "You can just hit the pin." They shared a laugh, but that's exactly what happened.

"I hit a really, really good shot," Ewart Shadoff said. "It landed in the walkway and went up and hit the pin and went in. It was funny." The ball took an unexpected left kick, and she thought it would end up in the middle of the green. Instead, it found the cup for her seventh LPGA ace.

But here's the truly mind-boggling number: Ewart Shadoff revealed that while her seventh LPGA ace is impressive, she actually has 17 hole-in-ones in her entire career. Her very first came when she was just 18 years old, and it happened during a recruiting visit with her future college coach. "It was the first hole-in-one she ever watched," Ewart Shadoff said. "Kind of was a sign, sealed, delivered kind of moment."

For a player who last won at the 2022 Mediheal Championship, Friday's ace and strong round at the Kroger Queen City Championship show that Ewart Shadoff's game is in fine form. The third round is already underway in Cincinnati, and golf fans will be watching to see if she can add to her already legendary collection of aces.

Whether you're chasing your first hole-in-one or your 17th, Ewart Shadoff's story is a reminder that the perfect shot can come when you least expect it—and that a little laughter with your caddie might be the best preparation of all.
