The Cleveland Browns and general manager Andrew Berry were able to successfully add multiple offensive prospects during the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

After moving down from the No. 6 pick, the Browns selected one of the best offensive linemen prospects in Utah's Spencer Fano. And while many fans were concerned about the wide receiver position, Berry and the front office responded by selecting Texas A&M's KC Concepcion with the No. 24 pick.

Leading up to the draft, Concepcion was not viewed in the same tier as the top receiver prospects, which included Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, and Makai Lemon. Still, the former SEC standout managed to put his name on the map during the 2025 college football season by recording 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 61 receptions.

Standing at 5-foot-11, 196 lbs., Concepcion does lack size, but makes up for it with his electric style of play in the passing game. Despite not running a 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the 21-year-old pass catcher's speed is noticeable on the tape, as he averaged 15.1 yards per reception in 2025. This, along with racking up a total of 10 contested catches last season, makes him a unique prospect for the Browns.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, there are concerns about his game that could affect him early in his NFL career. Concepcion had seven drops in his final season with the Aggies, which was one of the highest marks out of all prospects in this year's draft. While there were plenty of issues in terms of the quarterback play at Texas A&M last season, Concepcion's drops will be the primary concern for him heading into his rookie season.

Looking ahead at how the first-round pick will fit into the Browns' offense in 2026, Concepcion offers a speed element that the current room lacks. His ability to win at all three levels of the field is reminiscent of head coach Todd Monkens' former top receiver, Zay Flowers. If he can clean up the drops, the highly-touted pass catcher could quickly become Cleveland's No. 1 wide receiver by the end of his rookie season.
