Get ready for an action-packed Monday as the Heritage Conference and WestPAC crown their baseball and softball champions in a series of can't-miss matchups across the region.

In the Heritage Conference softball title game, it's a rematch that fans have been waiting for: Conemaugh Valley (14-3) takes on undefeated West Shamokin (19-0) for the second straight season. The showdown starts at 7 p.m. in Northern Cambria. West Shamokin has been absolutely dominant, outscoring opponents 184-17 this season with 11 shutouts. Senior pitcher Leah Mondi leads the charge with a 0.92 ERA and 144 strikeouts over 106 innings. Conemaugh Valley, making their third consecutive title game appearance, comes in hot with five straight wins and a 130-43 run differential.

Over on the baseball diamond, undefeated Conemaugh Township (17-0) faces Marion Center (12-5) at 7 p.m. at First Commonwealth Field in Homer City. The Indians boast a staggering 147-38 run differential and are riding a program-record winning streak that dates back to 2019. Pitt-Johnstown signee Colin Dinyar has been nearly unhittable, posting a 7-0 record with a 0.79 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 35.2 innings. Marion Center, however, has won seven straight and won't go down without a fight.

The WestPAC also delivers doubleheader drama at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson. In softball, Turkeyfoot Valley (7-7) challenges two-time defending champion Shade-Shanksville (9-4) at 4:30 p.m. The Panthers have been a dynasty, winning the last two titles and going undefeated in conference play this season. Turkeyfoot Valley, meanwhile, has won two straight and is hungry for an upset.

In WestPAC baseball, Ferndale (7-10) battles Blacklick Valley (9-8) at 4:30 p.m. Blacklick Valley has been knocking on the door, losing in the previous two championship games, and is eager to break through. The Vikings have scored 108 runs this season and are ready to leave it all on the field.
