The Delta Center is undergoing a major transformation, and the next two summers will bring some exciting changes that fans won't want to miss. Smith Entertainment Group (SEG), the powerhouse behind the Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth, and the arena itself, has unveiled its ambitious renovation plans aimed at making every seat a winner—especially for hockey.

By the 2027-28 season, every single seat for Mammoth games will offer full-ice views, a game-changer for fans who've dealt with obstructed sightlines. The goal? Eliminate all single-net-view seats for hockey without sacrificing the premium basketball experience Jazz fans have come to love.

Work is already underway on the north and northeast end of the arena, closest to the home bench for both sports. The 2026 renovations will introduce terraces in the upper bowl, creating multi-tiered seating that brings fans closer to the action. Renderings show four distinct terraces starting above the existing suites on the fourth level.

But that's not all—two "gondolas" will be added high above the seats, each holding about 200 fans. Think of them as exclusive perches with an unmatched view. Meanwhile, the new parking garage, which broke ground in summer 2025, will wrap up in 2026, adding space for roughly 450 vehicles.

**Summer 2027: A Wall of Noise**

Inspired by the Intuit Dome's famous "The Wall" (home to the LA Clippers), the 2027 phase will connect the lower and upper bowls on the south/southwest end into one massive, sloping section. This is the side nearest the visitors' bench for both hockey and basketball—and it's designed to make opposing teams feel the heat.

"You're going to feel that intensity from the floor all the way up," says Jazz president Jim Olson, who's overseeing the project. "The visiting team will really feel the fans right on top of them. It's going to create an even greater home advantage than what we already have."

Beyond seating, the 2027 upgrades will revamp concession stands, boost bathroom capacity, and refresh the suites. Interior design updates for the suites kick off in 2026, so fans can expect a sleek, modern look from top to bottom.

Whether you're cheering for the Jazz or the Mammoth, the Delta Center is evolving into a venue that puts fans at the heart of the action—one summer at a time.
