Gregor Kobel didn't mince words after a frustrating outing for Borussia Dortmund. Speaking to DAZN, the goalkeeper expressed his disappointment, admitting, "I'm not happy with how the match went." He acknowledged that Gladbach came out strong from the first whistle, consistently creating opportunities and ultimately earning their reward. "They kept creating chances," Kobel noted. "And in the end, they were rewarded for their efforts."

Reflecting on Dortmund's struggles, Kobel pointed out that when the team has an off day, sometimes a 0-0 draw is the best they can hope for. "When we have a day like this, where things aren't going our way, where we've had a bit of luck with Gladbach's finishing, then we have to settle for a 0-0 draw – and that's that." The frustration was palpable as he added, "We've done that more than enough this season. It's a shame, it's frustrating that we didn't manage to get the job done."

With just two matches left in the campaign, Kobel emphasized the responsibility every player carries. "Every single player knows he has a certain obligation to the badge and the club. Everyone has signed a contract for 34 games. So we need to go out and win the last two as well." For Dortmund fans, the message is clear: the season isn't over yet, and the squad is determined to finish strong—no matter how tough the road has been.
