Offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa was selected by the New York Giants in round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft, with the 10th overall pick.

The Giants acquired the pick earlier in the month in a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals for defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.

The details of Lawrence's amended contract with the Bengals were shared April 23 by ESPN's Dan Graziano, leading ESPN New York Giants reporter to tweet that Lawrence "simply wanted out from the Giants."

The Bengals announced earlier in the week that Lawrence received Shemar Stewart's No. 97 jersey. Stewart wore the number as a rookie.
