The college basketball transfer portal has delivered another key piece to the Kansas State Wildcats' roster. Georgetown transfer forward Isaiah Abraham has committed to continue his career in Manhattan, giving head coach Jerome Tang a promising, athletic wing for the upcoming season.

Abraham, a former four-star recruit from Paul VI Catholic in Virginia, brings high-major experience to the Wildcats. After a brief stint at UConn as a freshman, he transferred to Georgetown, where he appeared in 33 games this past season. He averaged 4.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in nearly 20 minutes per contest, showcasing his potential as a versatile defender and a developing three-point shooter.

This move represents a fresh start for Abraham, who was a top-100 national prospect in the 2024 class. His length and defensive versatility are a natural fit for the competitive style of the Big 12, and he will look to carve out a more significant role in a Wildcats program looking to build on its recent success.

Abraham isn't the only portal addition for Kansas State this offseason. He joins former Virginia Tech shooting guard Jaden Schutt, another talented transfer looking to make an impact. Schutt, who began his career at Duke, brings proven scoring ability, highlighted by a 20-point performance against Syracuse last season.

For Georgetown, Abraham's departure continues a period of transition under coach Ed Cooley. The Hoyas finished 16-18 last season and have yet to reach the NCAA Tournament during his tenure. For Kansas State fans, however, this commitment signals an active and ambitious approach to roster construction, adding valuable depth and experience as the team prepares for the grind of conference play.
