The Minnesota Frost have done it again, proving they thrive when their backs are against the wall. In Friday night's Game 4 of the PWHL semifinals at Grand Casino Arena, the Frost rallied from a 1-0 third-period deficit to defeat the visiting Montreal Victoire 3-1, forcing a decisive Game 5 back in Montreal on Monday night. This win extends Minnesota's impressive streak to 5-0 in elimination games—a testament to their resilience under pressure.

The game started as a tight defensive battle, with both goaltenders standing tall through two scoreless periods. But the ice shifted early in the third when Montreal's Maureen Murphy broke the deadlock just 65 seconds in, putting the Victoire ahead 1-0. For a moment, it looked like the Frost might be heading for an early offseason. But Minnesota's Sidney Morin had other plans. She turned the tide with two clutch goals in the final frame—first at 8:05 to tie it, then at 12:01 to give the Frost a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Morin's back-to-back strikes flipped the script and sent the home crowd into a frenzy.

With the clock winding down, Montreal pulled goaltender Ann-Renee Desbiens for an extra attacker, hoping to force overtime. Desbiens had been solid all night, making 28 saves on 30 shots, but the gamble backfired. Kelly Pannek sealed the win with a cross-ice goal into an empty net with just 75 seconds remaining, sending a clear message: the Frost aren't done yet.

Minnesota netminder Maddie Rooney was the backbone of the comeback, stopping 29 of 30 shots to keep her team in the game. She even earned an assist on Pannek's empty-netter, as did Mae Batherson, who also set up Morin's game-winner. Britta Curl-Salemme and Samantha Cogan chipped in with assists as well, showcasing the depth of the Frost's roster.

Now, all eyes turn to Monday night's winner-take-all Game 5 at Montreal's iconic Bell Centre. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on Fox 9+. For the Frost, it's a chance to continue their magical run; for the Victoire, it's a shot at redemption on home ice. Expect high stakes, high energy, and plenty of drama as these two teams battle for a spot in the PWHL Finals.
