While Michigan State football hasn't had as many players going directly from East Lansing to the top rounds of the NFL Draft in recent years, a lot of high-level talent has still been passing through Michigan State on their way to the pros. A good example of that is Germie Bernard, a former Michigan State wide receiver who transferred to Washington, then Alabama, before being taken in the second round this year.
According to Dane Brugler of The Athletic, another former MSU wide receiver should be in line for a high draft selection next year. Brugler has Nick Marsh, the former MSU star who transferred to Indiana this offseason, being taken in the first round of the 2027 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.
A transfer from Michigan State, Marsh (6-3, 215) is a good-sized athlete with playmaking potential.
