Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Austin Blaske has found his NFL home. After going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, the versatile blocker has signed a deal with the Los Angeles Rams—reuniting him with former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett.
Blaske began his college career at Georgia, spending four seasons with the Bulldogs before transferring to North Carolina. With the Tar Heels, the 6-foot-5, 310-pound lineman showcased impressive versatility, starting 21 games over two seasons at both left tackle and center. That adaptability is exactly what the Rams value as they build depth along their offensive line.
Blaske is part of a larger wave of Georgia transfers finding NFL opportunities. Five former Bulldogs signed undrafted free agent deals following the draft, while eight were selected. Among the notable names: Miami quarterback Carson Beck landed with the Arizona Cardinals in the third round, Arkansas linebacker Xavian Sorey signed with the Las Vegas Raiders (joining two former Georgia teammates), and Oklahoma pass rusher Marvin Jones Jr. inked a deal with the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
For Blaske, the path from Athens to Chapel Hill to Los Angeles is a testament to his resilience and skill. The Rams are getting a player with starting experience at multiple positions and the kind of size and toughness that translates well to the NFL game.
