The Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. before the end of the 2024 season, and the three-time Pro Bowler didn't play in 2025 after serving a six-game suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Now, the 33-year-old is attempting to make a return to the NFL for 2026, as ESPN's Jordan Raanan reported that the wideout is working out and has taken a physical for the New York Giants.
The Giants originally took Beckham in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft out of LSU. He spent five years in New York, three with the Cleveland Browns, one with the Los Angeles Rams, one with the Baltimore Ravens and one with the Dolphins.
In 119 career, games, Beckham has caught 575 passes for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns. However, in his lone year in Miami, he appeared in nine games and caught just nine passes for 55 yards while playing a career-low 20% of the team's offensive snaps.
Maybe the year away helped Beckham, but he's definitely not the player that he used to be. Still, New York might as well give him a chance to see if he can help second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart at all.
