New Boston College women's basketball coach Kate Popovec-Goss sure likes collecting South Shore stars.
Last week, she lured ex-Norwell High/Noble and Greenough standout Grace Oliver back home. On Wednesday, April 22 came word that the Eagles had dipped into the transfer portal again to land former Bridgewater-Raynham High (and Randolph High) star Natalia Hall-Rosa, who finished her prep career at Rivers School in Weston.
Hall-Rosa announced the news on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The 6-foot guard/forward spent her 2025-26 freshman season at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds over 25 games (24 of them off the bench). She had a career-high 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in her only start, against Villanova on Feb. 26. She also had 5 points vs. national semifinalist UConn on Jan. 24.

A three-time Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic selection, Hall-Rosa averaged 19.5 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists per game and was named to the South Shore League All-Star team as a freshman phenom at Randolph High in 2021.
She transferred to Bridgewater-Raynham for her sophomore year and led the Trojans with team-highs in points (13.5 per game) and rebounds (6.1), and scored in double digits 16 times as B-R finished with a 13-6 record.
As a junior at B-R in 2023, Hall-Rosa was named Southeast Conference MVP by leading the Trojans to their fourth straight undefeated run to the league title with a team-high 19.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
Hall-Rosa had 12 games with 20-plus points that season, including a career-best 33 points against Bishop Feehan in the Division 1 Elite Eight. She reclassified to the Class of 2025 and transferred to Rivers that offseason with 890 career points.
She cracked the 1,000-point career mark during her time at Rivers.
Boston College finished 5-26 last winter. The Eagles are hoping for a turnaround under Popovec-Goss, who spent the past four seasons at Bradley. The Braves won 20 games this past season and earned a WNIT bid, only the second postseason appearance in program history.
Before landing at Bradley, Popovec-Goss was the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Northwestern from 2017-22. The Wildcats made the postseason in five of her six seasons and were the 2020 Big Ten Tournament champions.
