Former Alabama linebacker Anfernee Jennings is expected to sign with the New Orleans Saints, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
Jennings is a talented veteran that could make an impact in New Orleans next season. The former New England Patriot recorded 26 total tackles and two sacks in 2025, as Jennings will prove to be an excellent addition to the Saints’ defense next year.
Drafted in 2020, Jennings has had a very solid career in the NFL following an excellent five seasons at Alabama, and the former Crimson Tide star will looking to keep things rolling in year seven.
Jennings played a critical role on the Alabama defense from 2015-19. The talented linebacker was apart of the Tide’s 2017 national championship run, as well as 2015 as a true freshman, but Jennings truly broke out and made a name for himself during his redshirt senior campaign in Tuscaloosa.
The former Crimson Tide star will more than likely continue to shine in New Orleans, as Jennings will reportedly join the Saints prior to the 2026 campaign.
