Gator boys stay hot is a term that doesn’t just describe the 2006 national championship team, but also Jon Sumrall’s recruiting.

Is there anyone hotter when it comes to recruiting than Florida Gators head coach Jon Sumrall? The answer is no.

The month of April has been incredibly fruitful for Sumrall. He started off the month with three recruits committed to the program. He started off by landing the first five-star recruit on the offensive line sice 2015 (Martez Ivey) in Maxwell Hiller and four-star quarterback Davin Davidson just a day later.

Monday brought a lot of excitement to Gainesville after the NFL Draft. They landed a high-upside three-star defensive tackle in De’Voun Kendrick from Tampa, Florida, and followed it up with four-star offensive lineman Peyton Miller.

BREAKING: Four-Star IOL Peyton Miller has Committed to Florida, he tells me for @Rivals⁰The 6'5 305 IOL from Anna, TX chose the Gators over Texas Tech, Clemson, and Texas"I want to help the Gators become champions again!"https://t.co/Jbev27Jbu9 pic.twitter.com/wp0sXDy18q

Recruiting Texas has been something the Gators have done a lot of in recent years. Miller is the latest, as he plays center for Anna High School in Texas. The four-ster recruit is currently ranked 130th overall and the 10th interior offensive lineman in the nation. His high school tape is a hilarious watch. He displays plus athleticism in multiple areas. Miller pops out of his stance with aggressiveness and reach blocks the second level with ease. Anna uses him often as a puller, displaying really good movement skills both linearly and laterally.

Where the fun begins is with his drive blocks. He has a nasty streak to him. Miller shows great hand placement and has the power to attack defensive lineman with aggressiveness. His pancakes are violent and brutal in the running game.

Miller likely profiles best as a center, but has experience playing offensive tackle as well. That versatility is going to be huge for getting onto the field. He is now the 10th commitment in the class of 2027.
