Spruce Creek, seeded No. 7, put up a gritty fight on the road against No. 2 Seminole but ultimately fell short in a tense 13-7 battle. The Hawks showed resilience throughout, but Seminole's defense proved too tough to crack when it mattered most.

Meanwhile, No. 4 Flagler Palm Coast experienced an even more agonizing exit, losing 12-6 in overtime to Forest. It was a familiar foe for the Bulldogs—Forest had also beaten them in the District 2-4A final just a week earlier, on April 22. That back-to-back heartbreak added extra sting to an already disappointing finish.

For Flagler Palm Coast, the season closes with a solid 12-6 record, while Spruce Creek wraps up at 10-8. Both teams showed plenty of promise throughout the year, but the regional quarterfinals proved to be the end of the road.

All eyes now turn to Deltona, the area's last hope. The Wolves enter their Region 2-2A semifinal matchup against No. 4 Nature Coast Tech on May 4 with a perfect 18-0 record and the No. 1 seed. It's a remarkable run for a team that has dominated all season, and they'll look to keep that momentum alive as they chase a state championship.
