For years, the Las Vegas Raiders offense has been a fantasy football wasteland. Sure, there were flashes—like rookie sensation Brock Bowers and his record-breaking 2024 campaign—but for the most part, fantasy managers have learned to steer clear of Silver and Black playmakers. That could all change in 2026, according to one prominent fantasy football expert who is going all-in on the Raiders.
The reason for this sudden optimism? New head coach Klint Kubiak. Scott Barrett, CEO of Fantasy Points, believes Kubiak is the missing piece to unlock the Raiders' offensive potential. Barrett points to Kubiak's impressive track record at his last few stops, as well as the legendary success of his father, Gary Kubiak, a longtime NFL coach known for his dominant rushing attacks.
"I think I want to go all-in on the Raiders this year," Barrett recently shared. He called Kubiak's 2025 play-calling season "the most impressive I can think of," noting that even his 2024 campaign with the Seahawks was trending that way before injuries decimated the roster. Barrett also highlighted Kubiak's work with the 2023 49ers, where as pass game coordinator, the offense averaged nearly 400 yards per game—the highest the franchise had seen since 1998.
Perhaps most telling for fantasy managers: Kubiak previously served as offensive coordinator in New Orleans, where he helped quarterback Derek Carr produce the two best games of his entire career in terms of passer rating. In just ten games under Kubiak, Carr posted five of his top 17 career performances.
With Kubiak now calling the shots in Las Vegas, both the passing and running games are poised for a major upgrade. That means elite fantasy assets like running back Ashton Jeanty and tight end Brock Bowers should be flying off draft boards this year. If Barrett's analysis is correct, the Raiders are no longer a team to avoid—they're a team to target early and often.
