Will Falcons RB Bijan Robinson win his first NFL rushing title in 2026?

When you watch the Atlanta Falcons' offense, one player stands out from the very first snap. Running back Bijan Robinson doesn't just gain yards—he creates them, juking past defenders and breaking tackles with an ease that makes the extraordinary look routine.

Now heading into his fourth NFL season, Robinson has already built an impressive resume. Two Pro Bowl selections. A first-team All-Pro nod last season. NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors in September. The numbers tell the story: 3,910 rushing yards, 25 touchdowns on the ground, and an average of nearly five yards per carry. Oh, and he's added 1,738 receiving yards and nine more scores through the air.

But there's one milestone that has eluded him so far: an NFL rushing title. According to Bleacher Report's Moe Moton, that could change in 2026. Moton recently named Robinson among five running backs poised to lead the league in rushing, and the reasoning is compelling.

"Over the last two years, Bijan Robinson has finished third and fourth in rushing yards," Moton wrote. "He could finally finish on top with new Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski calling the plays. Given Stefanski's track record and the Falcons' questions at quarterback, expect Robinson to play through the 2026 season with a high usage rate."

Stefanski's arrival is key here. Known for a run-heavy offensive system, he's the kind of coach who will feed a workhorse back like Robinson. And durability won't be an issue—Robinson hasn't missed a single game in his career. That combination of talent, volume, and availability puts him in the conversation.

But there's one factor that could make or break his chances, and it's something Robinson can only influence indirectly: the Falcons need to play with a lead more often. It's a common misconception that teams win because they run the ball a lot. In reality, teams run the ball a lot because they're winning. Stefanski's game plans will need to keep Atlanta ahead of the scoreboard, giving Robinson the carries he needs to chase that rushing crown.

If the Falcons can flip the script on their recent struggles, don't be surprised to see Bijan Robinson's name atop the rushing leaderboard in 2026.
