Former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is making a major move—both professionally and personally. After being let go in January following an impressive 18-year tenure with the Ravens, Harbaugh has officially listed his family's Owings Mills estate for $6.9 million. The four-level stone residence, nestled on seven private acres, hit the market on Thursday.
Harbaugh, who led the Ravens to two Super Bowl victories, didn't stay unemployed for long. He was quickly hired as head coach of the New York Giants in January. But it took a few months for the reality of a cross-state commute to set in. "The family still lives there, but the home is on the market," said Megan Wolfe, the listing agent with O'Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald. "After all, it's a long commute to New York."
The Harbaughs have called this historic property home since 2013, when they purchased it for $3 million. Originally built in 1905, the home has been thoughtfully renovated over the years and now boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and over 9,100 square feet of living space. "It's just a handsome, handsome house," Wolfe added.
For those dreaming of living like a Super Bowl-winning coach, the estate offers more than just square footage. Amenities include an in-ground pool, a hot tub, and a half-basketball court—perfect for staying active or hosting family gatherings. But don't expect any flashy NFL memorabilia or game-day shrines. "It's a family home, not his office," Wolfe explained. "There's nothing flashy."
This sale marks the end of an era for the Harbaughs in Maryland, but for the right buyer, it's a chance to own a piece of understated luxury with championship-caliber roots.
