Former Michigan football offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore has avoided jail time after being sentenced to 18 months of probation on Tuesday. The sentencing stems from misdemeanor charges related to a 2023 confrontation with his executive assistant.

Moore, who served as the Wolverines' interim head coach for four games during their 2023 national championship season, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted assault and battery and one count of domestic violence. The charges were connected to an incident where he was accused of pushing the assistant during an argument.
