One NFL draft analyst predicts the Bills will bring together D.J. Moore and Ja'Kobi Lane to help Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills are on a mission. After another playoff run that fell short of the ultimate goal, the urgency in Buffalo is palpable. They've already made a major move to supercharge their offense by acquiring star wide receiver D.J. Moore. Now, the draft presents a golden opportunity to add another dynamic weapon for Josh Allen.

In a recent ESPN three-round mock draft featuring top analysts, Jordan Reid projected the Bills to do just that. With the 91st overall pick in the third round, Reid has Buffalo selecting USC's standout wide receiver, Ja'Kobi Lane.

Reid's reasoning is music to the ears of Bills Mafia: "Josh Allen needs more playmakers, and Lane is a long-striding ball winner on the outside who has loads of potential as an explosive, down-the-field target." This addresses a clear need. While Allen's heroics and James Cook's rushing have carried the offense, adding consistent, high-impact receivers has been a priority.

Imagine the possibilities. D.J. Moore is a proven force, capable of turning any catch into a huge gain. Pairing him with a talent like Ja'Kobi Lane, a 6'4" target with a knack for winning contested catches, would create a nightmare for opposing secondaries. Lane's size and vertical ability are the perfect complement to Moore's route-running and yards-after-catch prowess.

For offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who famously orchestrated a historic offense at LSU, this would be another exciting chess piece. Adding Lane could unlock the most potent and balanced Bills offense of the Josh Allen era, transforming an already dangerous unit into a truly spectacular one. For the rest of the AFC, that's a terrifying thought as Buffalo aims to finally get over the hump.
