The focus of Paulus's frustration? Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year and 2024-25 NBA All-Star, who posted a puzzling stat line: just nine points and a single rebound. Co-host Chris Oldach set the stage, noting that Mobley's lone board came in over 30 minutes of play.

To make matters worse, Mobley's offensive production has dipped at the worst possible time. He scored nine points on 4-of-10 shooting and didn't attempt a single free throw. During the regular season, he was Cleveland's third-leading scorer at 18.2 points per game. While he did contribute three blocks and three steals, the Cavaliers need far more from their star forward—especially on the glass.
