The three-star prospect made the announcement live, leaving the Bulldogs to regroup after a hard-fought recruitment.

Keumajou, a standout at Coral Gables High School in Miami, is ranked as the No. 37 defensive lineman and No. 530 overall player in the class of 2027, according to 247Sports. At 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, he brings a rare blend of size, speed, and athleticism that could make him a game-changer for Florida's defensive front. Despite heavy interest from head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia staff, the talented lineman ultimately decided to stay close to home.

Keumajou's commitment gives the Gators a major boost, pushing their 2027 recruiting class to No. 6 nationally with 13 total commitments. For Georgia, the loss stings even more as they currently sit at No. 22 with just seven pledges—and that number took another hit when three-star wide receiver Aden Starling recently decommitted. The Bulldogs have plenty of work ahead to close the gap on the recruiting trail.

Georgia's struggles don't end there. The program also lost a promising 2027 cornerback commit, Jerry Outhouse, who flipped to UCLA despite being locked in with the Dawgs since early March. However, there's a bright spot: five-star tight end Jaxon Dollar committed to Georgia, and his size and skill set could make him a major offensive weapon in 2027.

With Keumajou heading to Gainesville, the Bulldogs will shift their focus to other available talent in the 2027 class. As the early signing period approaches, expect both programs to keep battling for top prospects on the recruiting trail.
