The Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots have been linked in rumors all offseason surrounding A.J. Brown, and after the Eagles selected a wide receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft, they spoke about trading Brown.

ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed on Monday that A.J. Brown was "likely" to be traded to the Patriots after June 1. The Eagles drafting Makai Lemon basically added more fuel to that report, but general manager Howie Roseman is holding his ground. When asked about trading Brown, he noted that he is an Eagle.

"A.J. is a member of the Eagles," Roseman told Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. We don't have any trades that have been made, or that are done. And I think for us, we're taking this one day at a time. We're going to look to improve the team tomorrow, and we'll continue to address anything that we have to with our roster, not only through this draft weekend, but we'll continue to look for ways to improve the team throughout the offseason, and as we get into training camp."

Roseman seems to be keeping things close to the vest. However, evidence that a trade is coming is at an all-time high. The Eagles just traded for Dontayvion Wicks and now drafted Lemon. They would not be loading up at a wide receiver if DeVonta Smith or Brown were not going anywhere.

There is still a chance that Brown gets traded, and it's not to the Patriots. However, reports suggest that the Patriots will be his new team after June 1.
