The trades happening during the 2026 NFL Draft aren't just for picks.
The Minnesota Vikings agreed to trade defensive end Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles, a person familiar with the situation confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss the deal.
The Vikings will get pick No. 98 overall and a 2027 third-round pick in exchange. In addition to Greenard, Philadelphia will get pick No. 244.
The Eagles were in desperate need of an edge rusher after they lost Jaelan Phillips to the Carolina Panthers in free agency.
Greenard was Minnesota's second-best edge rusher behind Dallas Turner. The Vikings now have a void at edge rusher opposite Turner.
