Alison Ernsberger is on an absolute tear. For the third consecutive week, the Dakota Wesleyan University sophomore has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Pitcher of the Week, cementing her status as one of the league's most dominant forces in the circle.

The right-hander from Granville, Ohio, was virtually untouchable, securing two more wins with a pair of complete-game gems. She kicked off her stellar week by firing a career-high 14 strikeouts in a commanding 6-0 shutout against Waldorf. Just days later, she followed up with a 3-1 victory over Doane, fanning seven more batters. In total, Ernsberger dominated over 14 innings, surrendering just one earned run and eight hits while racking up an impressive 21 strikeouts.

This remarkable run is part of a sensational season. Ernsberger now ranks third in the GPAC with 123 total strikeouts and boasts a stellar 1.92 ERA over 113 innings of work. With 12 wins, she's tied for third in the conference in that category, matching her teammate Mandalyn Nachtigall. Her excellence has been a driving force behind the Tigers' red-hot 12-game winning streak, during which she has earned the pitching victory in seven of those contests.

The surging DWU Tigers (30-11, 13-1 GPAC) look to continue their momentum at home this week. They host Mount Marty for an Alumni Day doubleheader on Thursday before celebrating Senior Day against Midland on Sunday to close out their regular-season home schedule.
