After taking Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, San Diego State cornerback Chris Johnson and Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez in the first two rounds of the 2026 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins were back on the clock in Round 3.
With pick No. 75 overall, the Dolphins took Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas.
Douglas, 22, was a three-star recruit out of Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas, before spending two years at the University of Florida and two more at Texas Tech, where he earned All-Big 12 honors in 2025.
In 40 games over four seasons, Douglas caught 135 passes for 2,031 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Now, he'll join a wide receiver room that desperately needs someone to step up and separate themselves as the top player in the group. While Douglas would likely be a depth piece on most teams, he'll have an opportunity to compete for a large role this offseason.
