"Like countless others, each time I go for any kind of test, I am a nervous wreck," Vitale admitted. "The anxiousness you feel about the uncertainty is off the charts." Despite feeling "great physically and sharp mentally," he acknowledged the concerning results and stated that doctors have recommended a biopsy to determine the next steps.
Vitale's resilience is well-documented. Over the past several years, he has successfully fought melanoma, Stage 4 lymphoma, and vocal cord cancer—the latter posing a significant threat to his iconic voice. "This is why I'm OBSESSED with the incredible work of The V Foundation," Vitale stated. "We need to raise money and bring hope to the millions that are battling."
