The Cincinnati Bengals just did the annual customary thing by revealing the jersey numbers of the team’s newest additions via free agency.

With one small (well, big) twist this time: They revealed the number of a blockbuster trade arrival.

Dexter Lawrence, acquired in exchange for the No. 10 pick in the NFL draft, said he would talk to Shemar Stewart about the No. 97.

Stewart and Lawrence, it seems, came to some type of arraignment.

Of note, the Bengals are now finally open for business on single-digit jersey numbers for defenders, too.
