It appears Darren Till has a dance partner for his debut in bareknuckle boxing.
The Englishman revealed that he will be fighting reality T.V. star and former Bellator fighter Aaron Chalmers in his BKFC debut. The bout will go down May 30 at BKFC 90 in Birmingham, England. Till revealed the matchup Tuesday during an appearance on "The Ariel Helwani Show."
This is Till's fourth competition since his departure from the UFC in 2022. Till mainly has been competing in boxing under the Misfits Boxing banner. Most notably, he knocked out former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold at Misfits 22 last August. Till fought in the UFC for seven years. At the height of his UFC run, Till challenged then-champion Tyron Woodley for the UFC welterweight belt. He lost the fight by submission.
Chalmers might not have the same track record to Till's in combat sports, but he's more than just a reality T.V. star. The former cast member of the "Geordie Shore" is 5-2 in MMA, fighting under the Bellator and BAMMA banners. He's also had one bareknuckle fight, stopping Chas Symonds at BKFC 72 last April.
