Two fighters have recently been removed from the UFC roster, according to the latest update.

Earlier in the month, Dana White released three fighters from their contracts, none of which were unexpected given the circumstances.

Luana Carolina’s departure was one example that didn’t catch many off guard, especially after her significant weight miss at UFC London.

The most recent changes reflect a similar pattern, including another fighter who also competed at the O2 Arena last month.

Shem Rock’s time in the UFC looks to have come to an end following a post-fight altercation at UFC London, something many saw as his final act with the promotion.

His run with the company got off to a shaky start after losing his debut against Nurullo Aliev in November.

After another loss, this time following a weigh-in altercation with Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, it wasn’t much of a surprise when the roster tracker showed he was no longer with the promotion.

The other recent departure is Pedro Munhoz, though his exit comes under very different circumstances.

Munhoz first joined the UFC back in 2014 and went on to make 22 appearances in the bantamweight division.

The Brazilian fighter headlined a Fight Night card against Frankie Edgar in 2020 but has since dropped three straight fights.

Earlier this month, Munhoz asked for his release from the UFC to explore other opportunities after spending years competing at the top level.
