You just knew Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn loved the team's selection of Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles at No. 7 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft. Over the last few weeks, we've heard that Styles was Quinn's guy if he made it that far.
He did — and Washington GM Adam Peters did not hesitate to pick the All-American linebacker. Styles was happy, telling a reporter on stage that he had told Quinn he hoped to see him again soon during a recent visit to the Commanders.
So, how did Quinn react to the news? In typical Quinn fashion......
"F--- yeah," Quinn said to the camera as seen on the Commanders' X account.

It's clear that Styles was atop Washington's board and did not expect him to land there. Now, Quinn and new defensive coordinator Daronte Jones have a perfect, ready-made replacement for future Hall of Fame linebacker Bobby Wagner.
A good start to the 2026 NFL Draft for the Commanders.
