The Dallas Cowboys enter the 2026 NFL draft with two first-round picks after last year's Micah Parsons trade, but without a second-round pick after trading for Quinnen Williams.
What those names have in common is that they are defense, and that's expected to be where the Cowboys load up as they try to rebuild a unit that was among the league's worst last season.

Their needs defensively are linebacker, edge rusher, cornerback and safety, so basically everywhere except defensive tackle. Offensively, Dallas could use help on the offensive line, though it would be surprising if Dallas spent more than two picks on offense.
Will Dallas trade up with their No. 12 pick? Will they trade down with their No. 20? All will be revealed starting Thursday night in Pittsburgh.

Here is the list of the Cowboys' picks for the NFL draft, which is April 23-25. The first round is on the 23rd, the second and third are on the 24th and rounds three through seven are on the 25th.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place between April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. It will be televised on the NFL Network, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
Thursday, April 23: Round 1, 6 p.m. MT/7 p.m. CT
Friday, April 24: Rounds 2-3, 5 p.m. MT/6 p.m. CT
Saturday, April 25: Rounds 4-7, 10 a.m. MT/11 a.m. CT
The 2026 NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh, outside Acrisure Stadium.
