Penn State has their third pick of the NFL draft on a day where they should have a handful of players selected. Offensive linemen Drew Shelton was taken by the Dallas Cowboys with the 112th pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft Saturday afternoon.
Shelton was a well-known four-star recruit when the Nittany Lions secured his commitment back in 2020. He was considered the 122nd-best recruit in the nation from his class, but more specifically, was ranked as the No. 12 offensive tackle. For a team who has produced its fair share of offensive lineman in the last half-decade, Shelton was expected to be the next man up to carry the torch.
The Pennsylvania native posted solid athletic numbers at the combine, meaning he could be a come a reliable, versatile blocker at the next level. Shelton had a solid career at Penn State and will now aim to become an impact player in the pros.
