Colorado football extended an offer to class of 2027 three-star athlete Jaiden Fields on Sunday.
247Sports Composite ranks Fields as the No. 596 overall player, No. 44 athlete and No. 87 player from the state of Texas per 247Sports. He currently holds 18 offers, with many from Big 12 schools. Arizona State, Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech are just some of the several offers.
At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Fields is not a big-bodied receiver but is a talented deep threat. During the 2025 season at Hutto High School, Fields caught 79 passes for 1,542 yards and 19 touchdowns, including one punt return touchdown. He also played defensive back, where he racked up 44 tackles, two tackles for loss and two interceptions.
Fields is a fascinating prospect given his two-way ability, which makes him an obvious target for the Deion Sanders-led Buffs, who have allowed several players to play both ways.

Colorado landing Fields would be a huge win as he is a rising prospect in the 2027 class. He has yet to take any official visits, with only one set for May 28 at Texas A&M. Sanders and CU will hope to get Fields in Boulder sometime this spring or summer.
