Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is brushing off the latest controversy involving his son, Shilo, with the same cool confidence he brings to the sideline. The middle son of "Coach Prime" found himself in hot water after firing off a sharp comment toward Cleveland Plain Dealer reporter Mary Kay Cabot.

The drama began when Cabot voiced her opinion that Deshaun Watson should be the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback over Shilo's younger brother, Shedeur. Shilo responded on Instagram by telling Cabot to "Go Make a Sandwich," sparking immediate backlash and putting the Sanders family back in the spotlight.

When asked about the situation, Deion delivered a classic Coach Prime response: "You majoring on a minor... Y'all over here trippin about what somebody said on the internet. I ain't got time for that. I got too many things I'm praying for."

Shilo later clarified his comments on his Twitch channel, insisting he wasn't aiming for sexism. Instead, he claimed he was pushing back against what he sees as unfair targeting of his brother. "If you're gonna be a reporter, be a reporter and report facts," Shilo said. "Whenever you have your opinion, and your opinion is always something hateful to Shedeur, then it makes it seem like it's something weird. Like it's an agenda that you have going on."

Cabot, for her part, took the high road. She didn't mention Shilo by name but joked about the sandwich comment on 92.3 The Fan, showing she could handle the heat better than most. It's a reminder that in the world of sports, the biggest plays often happen off the field.

Whether this beef is fully cooked or still simmering remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure—the Sanders family knows how to keep fans talking. For Coach Prime, though, it's just another day in the spotlight. And if we had to guess, Shilo might be sliding down the favorite kid rankings for this one.
