Colorado men's basketball secured its first transfer of the 2026 offseason, adding North Dakota State center Noah Feddersen.

The Colorado Buffaloes have made their first major move of the 2026 offseason, bolstering their frontcourt with a significant addition from the transfer portal. Head coach Tad Boyle and his staff secured a commitment from North Dakota State center Noah Feddersen, who announced his decision to join the Buffs.

Standing at 6-foot-10, Feddersen brings valuable size and proven production to Boulder. Last season, he averaged 9.3 points and five rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 51.5% from the field. His impact was recognized with the Summit League Sixth Man of the Year award, a key factor in helping NDSU reach its first NCAA Tournament since 2019.

Coach Boyle emphasized Feddersen's winning pedigree and versatile skill set in a statement. "Noah has experience, and to me, most importantly, he's got experience for a winning program, and he has produced," Boyle said. "He's got really good skills for a big guy. He can put the ball on the floor, he can shoot it and he understands the game."

Interestingly, Feddersen began the season as a starter before embracing a sixth-man role, a move that ultimately defined NDSU's successful campaign. Despite coming off the bench, he logged more minutes than any other big man on the Bison roster, showcasing his reliability and conditioning.

This acquisition addresses a crucial need for Colorado as they look to rebuild their roster. With five scholarship spots still available, Boyle indicated that at least one more big man is a priority, signaling a clear intent to dominate the paint in the upcoming season. For Buffs fans, the arrival of Feddersen marks an exciting first step in constructing a competitive squad for the future.
