Club Brugge has set a clear price tag for one of their most promising young defenders, and Juventus will need to meet it if they want to secure his signature this summer.

Joel Ordonez has been turning heads across Europe with his commanding performances in the Belgian Pro League. The 20-year-old center-back has rapidly established himself as one of the most exciting defensive prospects in the game, and many pundits believe this could be his final season with Club Brugge before making a big-money move.

Juventus are among the elite clubs tracking Ordonez closely. The Bianconeri are looking to rebuild their squad after a challenging season, and strengthening the backline is a top priority. With an eye on returning to Champions League glory and challenging for the Serie A title, the Italian giants are targeting young, high-potential players who can grow with the club—and Ordonez fits that mold perfectly.

However, Club Brugge is playing hardball. Known for their savvy player development and transfer strategy, the Belgian side is under no pressure to sell. According to reports from Calciomercato, they have set a firm asking price of between €35 million and €40 million for the defender. That's the number Juventus—or any other interested club—will need to hit if they want to open negotiations.

Competition is heating up, too. Liverpool and several other top European sides have also been linked with Ordonez, meaning Juventus may face a bidding war if they wait too long. With the summer transfer window approaching, the clock is ticking for the Bianconeri to act decisively.

Whether Juventus can strike a deal remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Ordonez is a rising star, and his next move could define his career—and reshape a defense in need of fresh talent.
