The NFL draft continued Friday with the second round in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Former Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II was selected in the third round by Carolina (No. 83 overall).

He played for the Vols from 2024-25 after transferring from Tulane. In 25 games at Tennessee, Brazzell II totaled 91 receptions for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound wide receiver’s longest reception was 72 yards against Georgia on Sept. 13, 2025. He totaled 177 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns against the Bulldogs. Brazzell II was named East-West Shrine Bowl Breakout Offensive Player of the Week after his performance.

Brazzell II appeared in 15 games at Tulane from 2022-23. He recorded 45 receptions, 722 receiving yards and five touchdowns for the Green Wave.

Tennessee has produced 393 all-time NFL draft picks, including the AFL draft which merged in 1967. 19 Tennessee players have been drafted during the Josh Heupel era.
