The NFL recently announced that some legendary players representing all 32 teams are scheduled to make selections in Rounds 2 and 3 of this year's NFL Draft. The Kansas City Chiefs will be represented by team legend Bill Maas, who will help welcome the next young player.
Maas is one of seven day-two announcers who attended the University of Pittsburgh, in honor of its hosting the event for the first time since 1948. The annual tradition of legends announcing draft picks remains a popular moment, especially when the player represents a rival team of the host city.

Maas was a former first-round selection in the 1984 NFL Draft. He was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and was a member of the All-Rookie team during his first season in Kansas City. Maas finished his career with 40 sacks, 2 safeties, and 2 touchdowns, and played in Kansas City through the 1992 season.
Before last season, Maas became the 54th individual and 50th player to earn this coveted honor of induction into the Chiefs' Hall of Fame.
