The Kansas City Chiefs have gone all-in on fixing their defense during the 2026 NFL Draft, and with the Annual Player Selection Meeting's final four rounds set to take place this afternoon, general manager Brett Veach has a ton of options to improve his team.
After taking LSU Tigers defensive back Mansoor Delane and Clemson Tigers defensive lineman Peter Woods off the board in Round 1 on Thursday, Veach targeted Oklahoma Sooners pass-rusher R Mason Thomas with the No. 40 pick — the Chiefs' only Day 2 selection.
Set to make four picks on Day 3, Veach should be expected to add some talent to Kansas City's offense as the Chiefs look to finish their rebuild after a disappointing 2025 regular-season campaign.
Stay tuned to this live blog for updates on all of Kansas City's picks and Chiefs rumors throughout Rounds 4-7:
As it stands, Kansas City has four Day 3 picks. First, the Chiefs will make the No. 109 selection in Round 40. Then, the Chiefs will make the No. 169 and 176 picks in Round 5, and the No. 210 selection in Round 6.
