Chelsea have drawn up a shortlist of head coaches as pressure mounts on Liam Rosenior, according to RMC Sport. The former RC Strasbourg manager oversees a disastrous streak of results with the Blues, who have suffered a heavy 3-0 away Premier League defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday.

Cheslea’s latest result leaves them seven points adrift of fifth place in the Premier League standings. Although the Blues’ ownership has always backed Rosenior, the tide has changed and a split now feels imminent, RMC Sport understands, although Rosenior only calls Chelsea home since January.

The outlet adds that high-level meetings took place on Wednesday regarding the best course of action to finish the current season. If Rosenior were to leave the club only four months after his arrival from BlueCo-owned Strasbourg, Chelsea have thought about contingency plans.

RMC Sport reports that several candidates are being considered to eventually replace Rosenior. One of the names in the shortlist is Andoni Iraola, who has confirmed he’ll leave AFC Bournemouth at the end of the season. Another candidate is the highly-coveted Edin Terzic, who is a free agent since leading Borussia Dortmund to the 2024 Champions League final. Terzic is expected to join a club very soon, the report understands.
