Want to read some ugly stats? Sky Sports put together a nice collection for those with a sick mind. We picked out some here:

Chelsea’s loss at Brighton means they’ve lost fives league games without scoring for the first time since 1912.

The last time they lost five in a row was in November 1993.

They don’t have a clean sheet in 12 Premier League games. That’s their longest run since the 1996-1997 season.

Their 0.04 xG in the first half was lower than in any of the 114 halves that Enzo Maresca managed.

The Blues conceded a corner within 5 minutes today. That makes it 11 in the Premier League this season, their worst record since 1994-1995.

What more can you say about it? Those stats are just so damning, and the eye test was no better. That first half was maybe the worst the Blues have put in in living memory. They were totally disorganised, lacking in effort, pathetic in attack and defence.

They’re lucky it ended 3-0. It could have been 4-0 at the half.

Tim Sherwood joked that maybe Chelsea should sign some more players from Brighton after the Seagulls did the double over the Blues.

Chelsea were “pumped” by Brighton according to pundit Chris Sutton, who had some pretty harsh home truths much like those that Tim Sherwood did.
