The Los Angeles Chargers have added another weapon to their receiving corps, signing undrafted free agent wide receiver Mante' Morrow on Thursday. The move comes after Morrow impressed during a tryout at the team's rookie minicamp—an opportunity he also earned earlier this offseason with the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles.

To make room on the roster, the Chargers waived long snapper Peter Bowden in a corresponding transaction.

Morrow's journey to the NFL is a story of perseverance and production. After starting his college career at New Mexico State, he transferred to Upper Iowa University, where he quickly became one of the most explosive playmakers in program history. Over three seasons with the Peacocks, Morrow hauled in 153 receptions for 2,371 yards and an eye-popping 28 touchdown catches—ranking second all-time in school history in receiving scores and sixth in career receiving yards.

His 2025 campaign was nothing short of spectacular. Morrow earned first-team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors after posting the third 1,000-yard receiving season in Upper Iowa history. He also set a program milestone with 12 touchdown receptions in a single season, the most by any Peacock in over two decades. That dominant performance capped a collegiate career that saw him earn All-GLVC recognition in each of his three seasons: first-team in 2023 and 2025, and second-team in 2024.
